10-Minute Morning Beauty Routine
If the sound of your alarm sends you into a frenzy each morning than shedding some time off your beauty routine should be music to your ears! As much as I strive to be a morning person by going to bed early or splurging on cushy bedding, I never seem to ever get enough sleep, which also means I am not a morning person. Because of my AM struggles, I am constantly attempting to save time so I can get a few extra minutes of shut-eye.
Typically, my morning routine consists of coffee, a light breakfast, and beauty prep. In general, I keep my beauty routine during the week very natural and light-handed. I don't normally test or try out new products until the weekend to make sure they can hold up through an 8-hour work day. When Clarin's sent a few of their cult-favorite, tried-and-true products and challenged me to attempt to shorten my morning routine I gladly accepted! I love Clarin's skincare and have also used their mascara in the past, so I'm familiar with their high-end aesthetic that work wonders.
FACE & SKIN
After splashing water on my face and using a light toner on a cotton pad, I apply a light vitamin-c serum all over my skin. Next, I apply a pea-size amount of Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch all over my face, focusing in on my T-zone. This primer is incredible, it instantly soaks into the skin and creates the perfect flawless - yes flawwwless base for your foundations. Following with Instant Light brush on Perfector I add I touch of concealer under eyes around the corners of my nose. Basically, just the area where I tend to get red throughout the day.
EYES
For the eyes, I do a light sweep of a shimmery neutral over the lids and under the brow. Since I'll be working for a majority of the day there's no need to heavy or dark shadows. If I happen to have an event later in the day I can always add a crease color of a darker liner. Sometimes liquid liner during the day doesn't sit right on my eyes, so for work days I opt for just a few swipes of Supra Volume Mascara. I've been loving this mascara, the brush creates full beauitful lashes and doesn't leave clumpy residue.
LIPS
For the lips, I do a combination of a light chapstick and a hydrating lip cream like the Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. The shade is a creamy, peachy-nude, that adds a touch of color without looking over powering. The lip gel glides on super smooth and keeps lips looking full throughout the morning.
