INGREDIENTS:

1 lb Ground turkey

3 Tsp Taco Seasoning - Homemade

1/2 Avocado {sliced}

1/2 tomato {diced}

1/2 White Onion {diced}

2 Tbsp Green Chilis {diced}

Cotija Cheese

Lime {sliced wedges}

1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

3 oz. Water

Pepper Sauce {optional

DIRECTIONS:

Heat 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent. Turn down heat and add green chilis and tomatoes, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and set aside.

In a large sauce pan heat 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil and add ground turkey. Break up turkey and continue to cook until turkey is no longer pink. Stir in taco seasonings and continue to cook for 1 minute.  Add 3 oz. water and continue to cook until incorporated- about another minute.

Add vegetable mix with meat and serve in warm corn tortillas. Top with avocado, cotija, and add lime wedges to dish. For extra heat add a few dashes of your favorite pepper sauce -I like this one.

Enjoy!
