Thanksgiving on A Sandwich
Can you believe Thanksgiving is only a week away? In my opinion thanksgiving is a foodie's dream holiday. With plenty of dishes to be passed around the table your bound to be left with more than a few helpings of leftovers. So what to do you do with all the leftovers? Make the ultimate Thanksgiving turkey sandwich! This hearty and delicious sandwich is served on toasted sourdough bread with thick slices of turkey breast, cranberry sauce, crisp romaine, and melted Brie. It’s an appropriate way to use leftovers, and it also happens to be pretty delicious.
Ingredients:
Sourdough bread
Leftover turkey breast
Leftover cranberry sauce
Brie
Romaine lettuce
Directions:
Spread butter on two slices of bread and toast in a large skillet on low-medium heat. Once bread is golden brown, remove one slice from skillet and set aside. Add a large slice of Brie and turkey to the slice in skillet.
Once Brie begins to melt, remove from pan. Spread 2 or 3 tablespoons cranberry compote onto second slice of bread. Add crisp romaine, cut, and enjoy!
