SLICK & PARTED

3 Holiday Hairstyles to Try this Season via. Birdie Shoots

HOW TO:
This style could not be easier to achieve! Three products are needed to achieve this look, hair spay, fine bristled brush, and a comb. Starting with clean hair, either with a natural wave or straightened, align a comb along the bridge of the nose and create a center part.

Pull hair to either side and slightly mist with hair spray. Continue to brush hair back into a pony tail with your brush. Secure with a hair tie at the nape of neck middle of  the head. Finish with hairspray, and lightly pat down fly aways if any remain.

THE VERONICA SIDE WAVE

HOW TO:
This look is a nod to the Veronica Lake style do! Starting with dry hair, part to either side. The part should be relatively deep, I aligned mine with the beginning of my right brow. Using a 1 1/2" curling iron begin barrel curling hair in sections no larger than 1". Leave in curls, do NOT brush out!

If your starting to feel/look like you need to be on the Sweet Ship Lollypop, your doing it right! Once both sides of hair have been curled set hair with a strong-hold hairspray. Allow, a few minutes for your hair to cool, and the hairspray to set.

Next, with the fine side of a comb, begin pulling through your curls, starting at the part and finishing at your ends. Continue until all hair is combed, and finish with a blast of hairspray.

THE PULL APART SIDE BRAID

HOW TO:

Start with a deep side part on the preferred side of your head. Pull all hair to the opposing side of your part. Divide hair into three equal sections and being to braid. Once the braid is complete secure with a hair tie.

Next beginning at the top of your braid begin slightly tugging on each braided segment. This is by no means a polished look, so have fun with it! Once complete finish with a light hold hairspray and add additional bobby pins if needed.
