Double Fishtail Braids
Happy Monday morning! This weekend we had a nice break from the rain, and I was able to finally get outside and finish up a little bit of christmas shopping. Although, I still have a few smaller things to pick up, I should be done this week! Most of the time when I'm running out to do errands, I will do something quick and easy to pull back my hair.
My go-to style as of late have been a quirky mix of braided styles. In an effort to switch things up I decided to put together a double fishtail braid. If you know the basic fishtail braid, then you should have no problem learning how to do this!
Directions:
Start by parting hair to the left or right. Pick up a section of hair which is heavy on the part and divide it into two sections.
Take a little piece of hair from the back section, cross it over the top, and add it into the front section. Cross a little piece of hair from the front section, crossing over the top and add it into the back section.
Continue with this process, but this time pick up an extra section of hair, crossing it over the section. Repeat this step with the front section.
Once you reach the top of your ear, continue on with normal fishtail paid. Gently pull on the sections of hair and secure with a clear elastic.
Take the remaining hair and create a normal fishtail braid. Before securing with an elastic pull on the sections to loosen up the braid.
Take the front braided section of hair and cross it around the back and up towards the opposite ear. Secure with two bobby pins (I chose to use gold, but you can use any color!)
