The LOOK | Crop Top

Can you say 3-day weekend?!? I feel like I've been going through the motions of a never-ending week. Between a super busy work week and going to-and-from the city, it's been exhausting. This weekend I'll be spending my time doing absolutely nothing! I love unplanned holiday weekends, it gives me a chance to do fun spur-the-moment ideas and just relax. 

Hopefully, (weather permitting) I'll be able to sneak in a beach day with the boy, god knows I need to get a little color. Now, onto The LOOK, I've been wanting to work in this basic crop, it's literally, yes literally been hanging in my closet for a year! Being as I'm not a huge fan of showing too much stomach when out and about I kept the skirt long and draped a blazer over my shoulders.

The color combo has been a favorite of mine lately, I just love the contrast; it reminds me of the 2011 Gucci collection. I could easily throw on a pair of nude pumps for grabbing drinks with friends or keep it causal with a pair of oxfords.
