Fitness has always been a part of my life, from 13-years of soccer, to the strew of random sports played in my youth. Getting older I've found that without the constant push of organized sports or the call of monthly gym dues, exercise often gets put on the back burner.

Since most of my week is comprised of days in the office, I often have to wait until after 5 to hit the pavement. Which, I've found to be the most energizing part of my day (see: NOT A MORNING PERSON). Luckily, the boy and my friends are all very active which helps put a priority back on exercise. As with most women, a big part of hitting the gym or committing to a long run is knowing that I am going to be comfortable in what I wear. Now, I'm not saying it needs to be a fashion statement, but you should feel that your clothing is working with you, fits appropriately and doesn't limit you in terms of flexibility.

I've long been a fan of Nike Tempo shorts and lululemon running tights, which both are incredibly light weight and comfortable! Recently, I was contacted by Influenster to do a review on Victoria's Secret new line of fitness apparel. I had heard great things about their sports bras, but had yet to try their clothing.

First off, I was incredibly impressed with the stretch and fit of the pants, not to mention the awesome print! They reminded me a lot of the lululemon tights, but were quite a bit thicker. The waist line hits right above my hips (i'm 5'7") and has a build-in draw string.

I loved how light weight the sports bra was, but had some initial issues with the fit. Assuming that the band would correlate with their standard bra sizes I went with my usual sizing. Whelp, that was a complete fail, and it was much too tight, like WAY too tight. I went ahead and decided to give the next size up a try and while it fit better, I still didn't care for the extra padding and "push" up nature of the style.  Maybe, its just me but, I prefer sports bras with a little less structure.
