If theres one thing I love about fashion it's clothing that works in more ways than one. The midi skirt; a fan-favorite for obvious reasons, not to mention this little number has a full skirt and lining to prevent Marilyn moments!

I wanted to add a bit of pop to the evening look, so I added a pair of red Kelsi Dagger pumps and draped a leather jacket over my shoulders. I'm all about mixing textures and I was really feeling the juxtaposition of the structured leather with the more feminine skirt and heels.

I'll be spending the evening watching Kings of Leon and I couldn't be more excited! I've tried to see them in the past but, for some reason it never ended up working out. I've heard they put on an incredible show, so I'm sure come Thursday I'll be raving about the performance :) until then have a fabulous Wednesday!
