Black Magic

Have you ever felt like you need a wardrobe overhaul? Over the past year I feel like my style has started to evolve from an array of colors to a more neutral color pallet. It's weird because everything I've been gravitating towards lately has been either black, white, tan, or some combination of theses hues. This week I did another major closet clean out and managed to add everything of color to the donate pile. Maybe it's just that I'm more comfortable when I know I'm investing in pieces that will last from season to season, rather than donated or disliked within the next month.

One of those pieces happens to be this pair of coated dark denim. Over the past few causal Friday's I've been showing more "weekend" style, so this weeks focus was on a typical week-day look. No surprise, it's pretty much a head to toe black and grey look, but I feel like that's what makes it work. Dressing in similar shades always looks so uniformed and streamlined. I'd love to hear if you've experienced a similar wardrobe color transition?
