Absolut. OAK Dark & Stormy Cocktail

Can I get a TGIF? As it's one of my favorite days of the week and around the appropriate hour to start imbibing I thought it only right to share my go-to cocktail of the moment. You don't need to be a rocket scientist or master mixologist to know that simplest cocktails are often the best. All is true with this take on the classic dark and stormy. My tip to you? Mix up your alcohol and experiment with flavored or distilled varieties. As the first image clearly shows I am taking the new and quite tasty OAK by Absolut. into the mix (with open arms).

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. OAK Absolut.
3 oz. Quality Ginger Ale
1 Lime ( for squeezing & serving)

DIRECTIONS:

Grab your preferred mode of transportation, for me that was a copper mug. Next, ice, ice, baby! If you happen to have crushed ice or a lewis bag and mallet get to crushin', if not cubes will due. Next, give 1/2 lime a good squeeze. Follow that up with 6 oz. of *Quality* Ginger ale, trust me, it'll taste that much better. Slowly finish with 2 oz. OAK Absolut., and give a good stir. Your booze to soda ratio should be around, 2:3, but by all means tip the OAK if you please! Serve to your thirsty companions with lime wedge.

Cheers,

Birdie
