Pomegranate Lime Margarita Recipe

Pomegranate Lime Margarita via. Birdie Shoots

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Of course no celebration would be complete without a margarita. I've shared a few recipes in the past (like this delicious watermelon one) and wanted to switch things up with a sweet meets sour combination. In this recipe I’ll be sharing my take on the classic cocktail with this Pomegranate Lime Margarita!

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz Hornitos tequila
2 oz Pomegranate juice
2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp Agave syrup
coarse salt for the rim

DIRECTIONS:

With your lime wedge edge the rim of your glasses and add salt to the rim.  In a blender, combine  1 cup ice, tequila,  pomegranate juice, agave syrup and lime juice, and blend for about a minute. Pour into pre-salted glasses and squeeze in extra lime slices.
