As I write this my playlist is packed with hits from The Spice Girls, Brandy, and yes, N*Synch. Aside from the minor trip down memory lane, we have certainly come a long way as far as the tween boy and girl bands. But, when it comes to fashion were right back were we started. Being that I was born in 89' I know far too well the trends the really made their mark in the decade. While some will stay put others are very much making their way back into my closet. Whenever plaid is involved i'm always game. The print is timeless and whether I wear it on my back, unbuttoned, or tied around my waist it's something I'll always rock. In all honesty my day-to-day life usually consist of a form of this look, very shall we say casual?

Another trend although not just a 90s style is the resurgence of denim jackets. Although this style isn't a vintage Levi, the light wash is certainly reminiscent of the era. Come fall ill be mixing in plenty of high-waisted denim and an oversized duster jacket (or two).
