5 Tips for A Productive Work Week

5 Tips for A Productive Work Week via. www.birdieshoots.com

As a twenty-something with a full time job and blog time is of the essence. In fact I'd go as far as to say that time management is both my strength and weakness. Over the years I've implemented little steps to make sure i make the most of my time in the mornings. Waking up around 5:30am has gracefully forced me into becoming a morning person, but let me tell you I was NOT always like that. In high school my mom would practically have to drag me out of bed while my brother honked the horn in the driveway to get me to hurry up. So yeah, me becoming a little ray of sunshine that early was a shock to both me and my family. Since I do work with such a tight timeline in the morning there's several things I do the day/night before to make things go as smoothly as possible.

Plan your outfits

This is by far my number one tip for getting ready faster. Outfit planning has two benefits, one, it will completely relieve you of the stress of digging through your closet and coming up empty handed. Two, it will keep your attire polished and professional, especially if you iron or steam your garnets.

Set Your Brew Time

The great thing about coffee pots is that 99% of them have auto timers, that means hassle free mornings! Have your grinds start perking 15 mins before your alarm is set to go off, this way you can literally wake up to fresh coffee.

Make Your Bed

I know this is a weird one but it will make you incredibly more productive throughout the day. Plus it's a great habit to get into. I recently read an article that related this habit to the most successful people, so hey no complaints here!

Cook an Extra Portion

Cooking a protein on the weekend? Cook an extra portion to put in your lunches during the week. I like to cook up an extra chicken breast or two to put into salads and wraps during the week. These are super quick to prepare and pair great with Naked Pressed Juices!

Eat a Good Breakfast

I'm sure if you've heard it once, you've heard it a dozen times, but it really does do a body good to have a good breakfast. If time is an issue try throwing a juice into your work bag like Naked Cold Pressed Juice. These Cole Pressed juices are packed with nutrients, and come in a variety of flavors like Hearty Greens and Cool Pineapple.
