Southern Charm

Another week in the books, and nothing but, blue skies and time to sleep in ahead of us. Well, maybe not a ton of time to relax, but enough to realize that this is what we spend M-F looking forward to. This week couldn’t be more different to the last, so I wanted to share a little peek into the Bourbon Battle held by Marriott Hotel’s Griffin Gate and Maker’s Mark. No stranger to bourbon I jumped at the chance to attend the release and debut of Maker’s Mark flights (which I’ll share more about later).

The party and battle was held at the mansion on the Griffin Gate property and it couldn’t be more gorgeous. The picturesque estate was not only a site to see outside, but was filled with delicious bites, and yes, plenty of bourbon. As a self-professed foodie I couldn’t not share the pictures we took. Everything from candied bacon on clothes-pins to the most insane, taste-bud gilting donut sandwiches, I was in heaven.

Luckily, Kevin was there to snap everything whilst I stuffed my face, very classy, I know. I did my best to dress the part and found the perfect Tibi belted dress. The shade was a light pink, and hugged all the right places (i.e hiding much of my indulging). I paired the dress with a pair of nude heels and a simple Coach clutch.

This weekend will be likely spent catching up on errands, and putting the finishing plans together for our Paris trip in May!

xoxo,

Kelly
