Believe in Movement with Ideology

My relationship with fitness has evolved over the years from traditional team sports to a solo mission. I've struggled in the past to build up the motivation to keep myself in a routine and push myself to go further and test my fitness boundaries.  Running has been the one constant exercise activity that I've stayed with year after year. It's a complete stress reliever for me, especially after a long work day.

Hitting the pavement and going outdoors to get in my cardio also allows me to clear my mind better than I could if I tried running in place on a treadmill (but, to each their own). I'm guilty of using the thought of 'new gear' to push myself to go further or train harder but, who can say no to a little incentive? One thing all my running attire must have is a comfortable fit and yes, stretch! No one should have to worry about ill-fitting pants, or tops that don't fit right, which is why I always purchase brands I know that cater to quality and fit.

How do you motivate yourself to stay active?
