Poolside at The V, Palm Springs

After a quick 72-hour trip to Palm Springs we are back in San Fran! We headed down this past weekend to do a walk-through of our wedding venue and decided to extend our stay and do a little more research (aka poolside lounging). It was a cool 110, so Kev and I gathered our reading materials and hit the lounge chairs. We ended up staying just up the street from our venue at the V, Palm Springs. It’s a brand-spanking new hotel, with a updated take on the motel style. (Think modern, two-story layout with a central pool and bar).

The amenities were absolutely incredible and certainly catered to every desire a vacationer could dream of. Their poolside bar and grill, Elixir served up an array of tantalizing cocktails and tapas and is a must-see and sip if you’re in the area. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen a gram of the Love with the Cacao! We also ordered a few of their foreign beers, and the Cucumber Crush, which is a incredibly refreshing mix of cucumber, citron vodka, Velvet Falernum, pineapple, and lime.
