Where to wine taste in downtown Healdsburg
LA CREMA WINERY
235 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448
La Crema will always have a special place in my heart! This was the first wine I ever tasted, Sonoma Coast to be exact, and I still continue to drink it to this day. I had the pleasure of going to their Sara Lee location last year and was thrilled to be able to visit their tasting room in Healdsburg. The space is bright and modern and a must-stop when sipping downtown. During our time at the tasting room we were able to do a blind tasting, which was a blast! This is a great stop if you're tasting with a group who enjoys both whites and reds. I can guarentee everyone will walk away with a new favorite and also enjoy the atmosphere of the open air windows.
BANSHEE WINES
325 Center St, Healdsburg, CA 95448
Banshee has got to be one of the coolest places to grab a glass of wine in downtown Healdsburg. The overall vibe is relaxed and very California cool. The tasting room is on the smaller side but, there are designed areas to sit with a date or a group. They do accept reservations so if you're planning to sit and taste or grab a glass I'd suggest calling ahead of time! When you go be sure to try their Rose, its out of this world, and perfect for the spring/summer season.
REEVE WINES
4551 Dry Creek Rd, Healdsburg, CA 95448
If you're opting to take the Healdsburg scenic route, then you have to detour to Reeve Wines. After driving up a small road you'll come across a gorgeous stone-walled building. Inside the decor will lead you to believe you're in a Sunset magazine. It's relaxed sophistication at it's finest; it's one winery you'll want to keep coming back to for the ambiance. Aside from the great atmosphere, the wines are tantalizing and if you're a red wine lover you'll want to take several bottles of their pinot noir home with you!
