Toddler Winter Capsule Wardrobe

Winter is the perfect time to think thoughtfully about how your child utilizes their wardrobe. No matter the climate, layering is a must. Even for those like myself who live on the west coast. During the winter time, I most often find myself dressing my daughter in a combination of the following outfits:

  • Leggings, Sweater, light jacket

  • Jeans, Long Sleeve, Sweatshirt

  • Leggings, Short Sleeve, Heavy Jacket

Most parents or caregivers can quickly identify patterns like these are figure out exactly what pieces are worth purchasing. When shopping with Walmart, you’ll find various options, colors, and styles to suit your little one’s personality. I like that I can find clothing that has classic prints, like stripes, florals, or polka dots, and I don’t need to resort to overly trendy characters.

Tip: When it comes to sizing, read the details! Not all sizing is created equal, and you may buy sizes that won’t fit. I find this to be especially true regarding unisex clothing and toddler shoes.
