Bohemian Basics For Your Fall Wardrobe

I’ve always considered myself to be somewhat of a style chameleon, changing my tastes as frequently as I change my clothes. I’ve never been much of a girly dressier and have always found my style to favor towards bohemian pieces and silhouettes. Between the earthy color palette and exaggerated styles (like bell sleeves & denim), I can’t seem to wear enough of this style during the fall season. If you’re looking to infuse your fall wardrobe with a bohemian vibe stick to these basics to balance your taste with these trends.

Silk Scarves: This may be one of my favorite trends to update this season. During the spring I loved wearing pastel shades, stripes, and Parisian patterns. To update for fall, a darker color palette and focus on paisleys and 70s style prints will bring an ordinary cashmere sweater to life. You can check out this post to see how to tie or style different scarves.

Bell Sleeves: This is by far one of the most well-loved trends of the season. The bohemian inspired style is more versatile than you think! For those looking to wear a bell sleeve, you can find pretty much any blouse with a silhouette that suits your body type and preference.

Wide Leg Denim: Bell Bottoms seem to be making a comeback lately, and while exaggerated flairs aren’t seen quite as often, this style is sure to be a seasonal favorite for me. I’ve held onto a pair of Free People fairs that I can’t seem to get rid of! The key to finding a brand you love is all about the fit! For comfort and style go with a denim that has a slight stretch. This will not only flatter your legs but will also be great for styling with bodysuits and tucking in oversized sweaters.
