Rose in hand, warm breeze, and the sounds of Snoop-d-o-gg playing in the background, talk about a perfect weekend! The boy and I kicked off Bottlerock 2015 with a bang last Friday night and were serenaded by both music and food! We saw everyone from Imagine Dragons to Portugal The Man to No Doubt. The line-up couldn't have been better, and we struggled a bit deciding between set times. If you aren't familiar with BottleRock, it's a music festival in Napa Valley that's held at the end of May each year.
It's a relativity new festival, and much-more relaxed than the Coachella scene. The cool thing about the festival it's its equal parts music and food, so they have world-class chefs and amazing wine(s) and beer. We pretty much stuck to light beers during the day, but took a detour to make our way through the wine varietals on Sunday. We stumbled upon a few great wineries including, One Hope and Etude, which had the most amazing Rose of Pinot Noir!
I relied on my handy iPhone to capture a few memories along the way, as DSLR cameras weren't allowed (insert sad face). This week has definitely been a reality check as I get back to the daily grind, so I'm excited to finally have a weekend to catch-up and relax at home.
I wish you an amazing weekend!
xoxo,
Birdie
