DIY Jewelry Chest Revamp

Over the past few weeks I have been working with my dad to re-do a jewelry armoire. I picked up the chest at a small vintage boutique in town for only $45! With a little hard work and a lot of sanding, I couldn't be happier with the finished product. (Before..not horrible..just not my taste..hardware was taken off prior to photo)

Sanding..lots of sanding...and now for the finished product...

I painted all the hardware with Martha Stewart Pearl Acrylic Craft Paint (in Jet Stream) I wanted a little bit of the previous finish to show through so I only applied one coat of the paint to the hardware.

Now the chest holds everything from sunglasses to costume jewelry. The whole process was a blast, now I think I'm on a bit of a DIY kick!
