Drifting into Spring with Marc Fisher Footwear

What does a girl gotta do to get a little sunshine? It's been raining on and off in San Francisco, and it's about time that we get a taste of Spring. For the last few weeks, I've been slowly moving my heavier winter items into storage and adding a few spring pieces into my wardrobe. Making the seasonal switch has always been one of my favorite things to do, partly because it gives new life to pieces that I had previously forgotten about; it also saves me from making any new purchases!

Amidst my closet swap frenzy, I was generously gifted a few pairs of spring sandals from the team at Marc Fisher Footwear, the first of which you'll see in today's post! This leather, taupe sandal has got to be one of my favorites of the season. I had previously searched for a comfortable block heel with a peep-toe and found last years options to not quite be my style. Luckily, the shoe gods reigned supreme and these babies made their way into my shoe closet.

One of the best things about this sandal type is that they literally go with everything! Dress them up with a midi-skirt or dress them down with a pair of medium washed denim, they work with it all. If you're a commuter like myself investing in a shoe that is also comfortable is key to avoiding blisters and keeping your feet happy! I'd suggest doing a trial run in your house before hitting the streets, this give you plenty of opportunity to truly put them to the test. Speaking of hitting the streets in style, Shannon of Clothes & Quotes and Lauren of Fashionably Lo are sharing major spring sandal inspiration on their blogs as well!
