Easy At-Home Popcorn Snack Mix

This post was written in partnership with Walmart, all opinions are my own!

Based on my taste for modern home decor, I’m sure it is no surprise that I love everything from the 1970s. I love the organic lines of furniture, retro artwork, and cheeky nods to the lifestyle. Our newest Walmart appliance combines retro design with a modern purpose, which the entire family will love. Nothing quite screams nostalgia, quite like the at-home popcorn maker!

We have several pieces from the Beautiful line at Walmart, and I always make a point to recommend items from this line to family and friends. The price range is incredibly affordable, and the design rivals other brands that well exceed the price tag.

Sticking with nostalgia, I wanted to share one of my favorite at-home snacks perfect for movie night, game night, or if you’re craving something sweet and salty! This would also be a great treat to prep for a party or as an after school snack! The best thing about this snack mix is it’s completely customizable. I prefer a balance of sweet and savory flavors, but you can easily mix and match your favorites.

Snacks used in this mix

  • Preztels

  • Gold Fish

  • Peanut Butter Chips

  • Mini M&Ms

other add-in ideas…

  • Dried Fruit

  • Nuts

  • Cereal

  • Marshmallow

  • Toffee Chips

Simple Popcorn Snack Mix Recipe

Pour one lid-full (¾ C) of popcorn kernels into the Beautiful Hot Air Popcorn Maker. Pop according to instructions, into a large bowl. Set aside (we aren’t adding butter!)

  1. Crumble 1/2 C Pretzel thins and add to a large sheet pan.

  2. Sprinkle M&M minis, peanut butter chips, and goldfish crackers across the pan (this just helps keep a good mix!)

  3. Add to an airtight container or enjoy fresh!

This is a fun, colorful snack mix that is perfect for the whole family! I use the rainbow goldfish for an extra touch, plus my daughter loves them! It stays fresh for about five days when stored in an airtight container - but it’ll probably be enjoyed before then. (I recommend Walmart’s Home Edit line of containers, they’re great for multipurpose use and airtight! )

This recipe’s needed ingredients can be found at Walmart or ordered conveniently through Walmart.com. For a sweeter seasonal addition to this mix use Easter hard-shell milk chocolate!
