This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bioré®.

My weekly routine begins and ends with my skincare routine. The older I get the more time and effort I put into finding quality products that work with my combination skin. For me these skin woes have begun and have lasted since my early teens, and have continued to plague my product searches with dead-end results. The more I test and try facial cleansers the more I grow to realize which formulas work with my skin’s textures and what I keep at bay. I was introduced to Bioré® back in high school (which feels like a lifetime ago) when I used their pore strips! Leave it to the release of their Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub to have me hooked on their brand once again!

My picky skin requires two things from the products I use. First, it must be created for combination skin and secondly, it should reduce oils, while also removing dry skin. These are usually tough requirements to fulfill, whilst most products are designed to target one of the two concerns but, not both. Bioré® Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub not only checks both these boxes, but also allows you to control the scrubs intensity by adding water; and who doesn’t like to have a bit of control?

My Weekly Skincare Routine:

Monday through Friday, I stick with my daily schedule of face wash and moisturizer, I apply these both in the morning and evening. I typically use the same face wash at both times of day while keeping a lighter moisturizer (with SPF) for the day and a richer formula for night time.

2-3 Times a week, typically (Mon, Thurs and Sun) I swap out my daily face wash for Bioré® Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub. When using this I wet my face first then and dispense a dime-to-quarter size amount of the powder formula into my palm. To activate the formula I add a little bit of water and work a lather that I apply to skin. Gently, I massage this all over my face, with a specific focus on my T-zone and cheeks, where much of my oil lies. A quick rinse leaves my skin feeling invigorated and much more even.

Bioré is giving a year’s supply of Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub and Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser.  Enter HERE.

Saturday and Sunday are my days for keeping makeup to a minimum and pampering my skin. On Sunday afternoons I’ll apply a sheet mask or serum treatment to hydrate my skin for the week ahead. I also love to do under eye patches if I had a late night the day before.
