Friendsgiving, the time of year for good friends, good drinks, and delicious food. This year I will be hosting my first Friendsgiving dinner party. On a side note, I'm still slightly stressing about making a turkey- so if you have any tips please let me know! I'm planning to go with a classic recipe, so hopefully everything goes accordingly.

Thankfully, the rest of the dinner will be potluck style, so I won't have to worry about any other dishes. With the few essentials above the tablescape should be a breeze. Napkins are a must, and the tangerine is the perfect pop of color while still staying with the seasonal hue. Even though most of my friends have known one another for longer than I can remember, its nice to mix things up. Assigned setting allows people to catch up with friends they may not see all the time.

Lets be real, whats a great dinner party with out a fabulous drink? A festive cocktail is the perfect thing to get your friends in the spirit, and entertain them while you prep dinner. If you have a bar, set up a DIY style system, and let guest make their own.

And last but not least always prepare for overnight vistors. If your friends are anything like mine I usually have more than one straggler. The pumpkin pancake mix from Trader Joes is the BEST, and is a good remedy for those who may be feeling under the weather ;)

xoxo,
