Madewell says HELLO to San Jose!
Happy Friday Everyone! I'm so exited to share that Madewell will be opening it's 50th store location in San Jose's lovely Santana Row. The big opening is open to the public and will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday evening (4/23). Don't miss out on live music, champagne, sweet treats and of course the latest Madewell arrivals! I can't wait to have another location in the Bay Area, and would love one in Walnut Creek {hint-hint}. After browsing their new arrivals, I couldn't help but envision the perfect look for a day along the coast {can you say day-cation?}.
One of my favorite things about spring is planning spontaneous day-cations. With little to no packing involved and a mind-set for adventure you can really go anywhere. Although, you'll most likely only be needing the clothes you come in, its always nice to bring along a few more essentials. If you're heading to the coast the weather can often times be unpredictable, throwing a fun bikini under a loose weight sweater will have you prepared for the sun or the fog. I instantly feel for the flamingo adorned two-piece, the ruched bodice gives the top a feminine touch while the print is fun and playful. Since a drive is more or less always involved transportation in spontaneous day trips, comfort is key! A strappy sandal like the louie offers a slight heel without adding discomfort.
No bulky bags here, a suitable cross body is all you'll need to stash some cash and store your camera! Of course you wouldn't leave without a great pair of sunnies, choose something fun and bold, I'm loving the the round optical look of the hepcat shades! My last and final essential? Bring someone along that is open to adventure and good times!
