Proper Pleats & Unfortunate Circumstances

Have you ever felt like you're stuck in the loosing end of an equation? This past month has been a constant struggle of unfortunate circumstances. Typically, I like to keep the content on my blog uplifting or happy but, in an effort to keep it real I thought I'd share a look into what's been going on. This past week was a struggle at work, in between prepping for holiday quarter, I've found myself juggling two very busy jobs. It's been tough, real tough.

I'm determined to deliver and post at least 3 times a week, and of those three I want all of them to be quality and well written. Over the past few weeks I've snuck by with 2 posts per week, and for that I apologize. This weekend I challenged myself to shoot and prep for the next few weeks and while I was well on my way to doing so I experienced a bit of a set back. Saturday afternoon while we were in Napa my purse was stolen. This contained everything from my iPhone to credit cards; not to mention my brand new Rebecca Minkoff bag. I know it's easy to say that these are material things and can replaced. But, when you add this on top of a bad week it feels like the world is against you.

I'm fortunate to have a fiancé who graciously drove me all the way to napa to try and look for it. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. I've always tried to find the good in people, and I'm crossing my fingers it will turn up or be turned in. Im hoping to start this week on a better note and focus on the things I am fortunate to have like a loving, healthy family.

Thanks for bearing with me! I'm sending you all good vibes for a great week!

xoxo,

Kelly
