Achieving the Look: Fish & Game
I've been wanting to start a weekly post that show how to achieve trending styles. I've decided that every Tuesday I will feature a new seasonal trend, with three different ways to get the look. This week I focused in on what the fashion industry is calling "The Hunter & Fisher", although a long ways from either of the two.
With a emphasis on strong textiles like herringbone, leather, denim, plaid and wool the trend takes an interpretation from British hunting garb. Of course, we wont see fashionista toting around shotguns anytime soon, but the rich colors and patterns used we're all over the spring runways. From the Ralph Lauren to Tommy Hilfiger, each used their own spin to bring life to the classic silhouettes.

Look One:
With an over sized sweater like this cable-knit from
Joesph, layer over top a gingham blouse. Roll up the sleeve of your sweater and cuff your blouse so it lies on top of your sweater. Leave up tucked and pair with slim trousers. When picking out a shoe go for something with a feminine touch like this strappy pair from Zara. Accessorize with a mix of chunky necklaces, or go from a more demure look with a leather watch.

Two:
A twist on a lady-like look, takes an embellished chambray and wool pencil skirt and gives it new life. Tuck in your denim button-up to highlight the waist, don't stray from mixing with a patterned skirt.
J.Crew has a huge selection of pencil skirts that all hit right above the knee. Drape a camo anorak or jacket around your shoulders, finish off your look with a pair of pointy
stilettos.
