lipsticks
Pucker up, this Fall the top lipstick shades are ranging from both ends of the color spectrum. As I'm sure many of you have noticed the color of the year award goes to tangerine. The color has quickly transitioned it way into many of falls most luxurious lustres.

However,  deep and rich shades of burgundy have been making their waves in the beauty and fashion world. Although the color may seem a bit extreme for those used to wearing summer brights-don't fret, there is a shade for everyone!

As of late I've been really into trying out new hues, and I think one of the best ways to do this is to start with an affordable lipstick. In fact some of the top and most pricey cosmetic lines are outdone by drugstore brands.

Some of my favorites are Loreal, Maybelline and Revlon, all of which offer a variety of different shades and finishes. If your looking to try out a deep burgundy I would suggest also using a liner, this will give you a clean finish and improve the overall look of your pout. This is also a good idea because darker colors tend to bleed more and can often stain skin.

The same is true with your brights, a liner can keep a lipstick in place and keep it from looking sloppy. If your looking to wear your look from day-to-night start with a base coat of your favorite hue, next apply a layer of powder. Then once again finish with a final layer of lipstick, it may sound strange but it really works!

Hope you all are having a fabulous week :)

xoxo,

Birdie
