Poisoned Apple Cocktail
They say never take candy from a stranger, but if someone offers you a Poisoned Apple cocktail this Halloween - you say YES! All jokes aside, this cocktail is equal parts trick and treats, with a sweet start and strong finish. It's a great balance of rich flavors starting with the OAK by Absolut vodka. INGREDIENTS:
2 OZ. OAK ABSOLUT.
2 OZ. APPLE JUICE OR CIDER (NOT SPARKLING!)
3/4 LEMON JUICE
1 EGG WHITE
PINCH BROWN SUGAR
DIRECTIONS:
Assemble all ingredients prior to crafting this cocktail, including the martini glass. Grab a cocktail shaker, and add Absolut., Apple Juice, Whites, Lemon juice, and sugar and dry shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Now, just a side note, don't be nervous about including egg whites in your cocktail, the alcohol essentially cooks the whites, and creates the most heavenly froth.
Next, open the shaker and add ice, shake for an additional 30 seconds. strain chilled beverage into a martini glass and add the foam/froth to the top. For an extra tang serve or garnish with lemon wedge.
