Shadyrita, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy Beerita Cocktail
Schools out for summer! We’re back at it with our summer cocktail series and kicking things off with a new favorite. What a great way to start off this season with a cool refreshing twist on a Margarita. I was introduced to Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy Beer a few years back and find it the perfect beer to have on hand for summer gatherings. It’s a tasteful mix of lemonade and beer to quench that summer thirst. Add in a few additions (including tequila) and you’ve got what we’re referring to as a Shadyrita!
How To: Summer Shandy Beerita
- Crushed Ice
- 1 beer Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy
- 1.5 Oz. of favorite Tequila
- Fresh Squeezed Limes (Margarita mix if wanted to supplement)
- Dash of Triple Sec
Directions: In a large pint glass, add crushed Ice. (We opted to utilize a lewis bag and mallet for this step.) Next pour tequila, fresh lime juice and triple sec. Stir generously. Lastly, top your cocktail with Summer Shandy beer!
