A Day at The Races

This week I’m sharing photos from our trip with Marriott to Kenneland for Maker’s Mark 46 Mile. We ended up going to the racetrack the last day we were there and it couldn’t have been a better send-off to a great press trip. Kenneland is really a sight to see, with immaculate grounds and is a place that I would highly suggest visiting. Since we were there to celebrate the 46 Mile, we ended up watching the races from the Maker’s Mark suite, which was absolutely incredible. Even though we lost every bet, we had a blast dressing up and getting into the spirit of the race, which yes, included plenty of spirits*.

The weather was surprisingly warm and I was finally able to wear a Cameo dress that I had been stashed away in my closet. I paired this with a comfortable pair of Oka-B Zara sandals, which were key with all the walking we did! Of course no race day look is complete without a hat, and luckily enough it survived the plane ride. With the derby right around the corner, I’ll also be sharing a cocktail recipe tomorrow afternoon!
