January has certainly been a month of reflection, especially when it comes to looking at the previous year's fashions. For me 2015 was a big change for my personal style. I simplified and really honed in on what I loved most, and got rid of the things I did not. Looking forward to the year ahead means making a switch from quantity to quality. Investing in items that will ultimately stand the test of time are versus poorly made fast fashion trends. This month I've been loving playing with proportions and pantone shades. I've always loved pastels and think they're ultimately one of the most versatile color shades. Whether mixed with neutrals or paired with similar shade it's a year-round win-win.

From Instagram to Pinterest oversized coats are having their time in the spotlight. I love an oversized jacket paired with a skinny pant or denim.

What pieces have you been wearing this month?

xoxo,

Birdie
