Springtime Beauty Favorites
When the weather heats up, it’s time for a change in the beauty regime. Last week I shared a tutorial of my natural festival beauty, and I wanted to expand on what products I’m using to lighten things up and also protect my skin. For the most part I use a primer and foundation during the workweek, but when it comes to the weekends I like to use products that skin products that include a SPF with a lighter more natural finish. BB/CC creams are great alternatives that both provide light-moderate coverage and can really shorten the time spent in front of a mirror.
Natural Festival Beauty
When it comes to festival beauty, less is definitely more! In between sweltering heat and windstorms, heavy beauty routines do not stand a chance. When gearing up for Coachella, Bonnaroo, or any other festival destination, think twice before packing excessive makeup and skin-care products. In fact, I would suggest taking the minimalist approach when preparing your beauty bag this season. Invest in quality products that will be able to keep up with your playlist and pending weather conditions. Here is one of my go-to fuss-free natural festival beauty routines.
Outfit Planning 101
For those of us who don't spend our mornings leisurely waking up and sipping coffee from bed, outfit planning is normally reserved for the last 15 minutes before running out the door. Back to Basics, Spring Beauty
Happy first day of Spring! Just as the seasons change so should your beauty routine. If theres one thing I've learned through the years its the importance of paying attention to your skins needs. Spring means more time outdoors and the need to keep your skin moisturized is a must. My skin tends to be very sensitive to face washes, especially those with acne fighting additives. For that reason I prefer to use brands that sell products that are gentle on skin and exclude harsh chemicals.

Finding Your Signature Scent
Have you ever found yourself aimlessly wandering the perfume department, feeling a bit overwhelmed? If this "so many perfumes, so little time" mantra has passed your mind then finding a signature scent probably has as well. Finding a perfume that embodiespersonality can be a difficult thing to decipher, especially if you're not sure what to look and smell for. Perfumes are complex and are created based on a combination of notes that can be used to further describe a scent when applied to the skin. These notes are what build each brand's signature fragrances and what you should keep in mind when choosing a scent for yourself.
