Ultra HD Generation Foundation + Primer Review
If you crave a queen Bey flawless complexion, then look no further than this review. My thought on foundation is that there is an occasion for any coverage. Make Up Forever’s Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation, falls between the lines of everyday beautiful near perfect skin and well just that. The foundation delivers a coverage that nearly blurs small imperfections, including pores, fine lines, and minimal pigmentation. Having a few of these issues myself I can definitely attest to the coverage that this product delivers. Just to specify it doesn’t take packing on layer after layer to receive ample coverage either.
The liquid wears light on skin but, really delivers a beautiful full coverage finish. The overall foundation sat and blended well on my skin (combination) and applied well with a beauty blender and flat full bristled foundation brush, although I prefered the latter. I tested the product to see how it wore over an eight hour period of work and did find that by the end of the day, I had a few shiny spots. It wasn’t by any means a deal killer, but just something to keep in mind if you plan on wearing this as a daily foundation. Is so, I’d suggest carrying a pressed powder, and wearing a finishing mist.
In coordination with Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation, I also wore Make Up Forever’s, Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer for a mattifying skin finish. Over the last few years I’ve wore primers religiously under my foundations and have noticed a HUGE difference in wearing foundation without a base primer. This primer really impressed me, it created a beautiful base for setting the foundation and contributed to a more matte look. This was great for oily area of my skin, including the T-Zone and nose area. Compared to other primers I’ve used it didn’t have a weird oily consistency after applied, and set well when applied with my finger tips.
Overall I’m very happy with both the Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation and Mattifying Primer. I’ve already incorporated the primer into my daily routine, and will keep the foundation on hand for events and weekend gathering but, will most likely stick to a minimal coverage for everyday.
