Fall Family Bucket List - What to do This Season!
This season we’re taking in all that fall has to offer and checking off our a seasonal bucket list! Fall seems to offer the best of all the seasons in terms of mild weather, while also hitting the mark as a time for relaxation before the holidays. With Evie on board, we have even more reason to experience childhood traditions while also embracing new and fun experiences as a family. Aside from the obvious additions of partaking in baking cookies or watching Halloween movies, these activities will get you outside to explore and create fall traditions for years to come.
Fall Bucket List for Families
Visit a local pumpkin patch.
If you don’t have one in your area, head to one thats nearby and offers activities for your kids.
Take a weekday getaway to the mountains.
Instead of booking a hotel why not look into renting an AirBnB? Enjoy the area and spend one night cooking inside!Attend a local high school football game.
Dress up as a family for halloween! While we may not be actually trick or treating with a baby, it’s still fun to partake in the festivities and hand out candy!
Visit a farm to go apple picking.
The closest apple orchard to us is Apple Hill. It’s such a fun area to explore, and their apple cider donuts are incredible! You can also make fresh apple sauce for your little ones.
Take your family holiday Photo.
Fall is the PERFECT time of year to take your family holiday photo. With the foliage in full gear there are plenty of easy to find backdrops.
Head to the local library to check out seasonal picture books.
Go for a morning fall hike or walk. Theres a reservoir close to our house which is the perfect location for a morning walk.
Host an at-home cocktail hour alfresco.
This is more an adult-geared to-do! Put together a seasonal cocktail - here’s one of our favorites.
Visit the Outlets for fall shopping.
Fall is one of the best times to visit the outlets! Aside from having great pieces they seem to have a great selection of in-season or winter items during this time.
