Jewelry That Will Seamlessly Take You From Day-to-Night

So you’re going out for dinner and drinks with co-workers tonight but don’t have any spare time to run home. No need to stress, there are plenty of ways to transition your outfit by adding or switching up the way you style what you're wearing. Over the years I’ve developed a strategy for transitioning both my clothing and fine jewelry to go from day-to-night. The key to this strategy is choosing items that can easily be styled to elevate a look. Here are four ways to make the day-to-night switch seamlessly.
LAYERING
Layering is your friend when it comes making the transition. If you go for classic, neutrals color combination like black and white, it will stand out at cocktail hour but won’t be too flashy during a day of meetings. A silk blouse totally works at the office and still feels fancy enough for drinks out. While a pair of trousers may seem more casual, they're actually quite versatile and easy to turn into a nighttime ensemble. You just have to pay attention to your jewelry, opt for classic styles during the day that you won’t need to change later in the evening.
JEWELRY
As can be said with clothing, jewelry can also be layered! Keeping this in mind I prefer to invest and style pieces that are timeless in concept and design. UPGRADE YOUR FOOTWEAR
TIP! No need to put yourself in pain when adding a heel to your nighttime ensemble. A heel around 2-3 inches will look just as good, and also keep your feet happy!
One of the easiest ways to upgrade a work look is to swap a pair of flats for a heel. I’m normally not a huge fan of heels, but they can do wonders for transforming a look. Since many of you may have been on your feet for a majority of the day opt for a modern-mid heel around 2-3 inches. A little lift will not only give the illusion of a more streamlined look, it will also give needed support to your arch!
